Groundfloor room - not stairs ! Helpful staff dealt with all our questions. Local map and restaurant suggestions provided.
Wet room shower! Design and position of hooks/shelves etc made using it problematic... but we managed.

The hotel is in a great location and the check in could not have been more professional. Breakfast was superb.
Our room was on the second floor with no lift. Although only staying for one night our luggage was heavy. The en suite bathroom had a sliding door, however it needed a door jamb to stop it trapping fingers in the handle when closed. Finally there was no kettle.

This hotel is across the road from the main rail station and with in walking distance of the Cathedrale which was the reason for our visit, paking was secure. this appeard to be part of a 4* hotel which was next door but there was no separation of doors between them as far as we could see it was all one.
The room which over looked the train station. was extreemly small as was the shower room, there was very little space for bags and no secure place to leave valubles. The room was quiet
For the breakfast but we went though to where the rest of the guests were sitting which seemed to be in the other hotel but as no staff were on hand,we sat down and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. it wasent until we were returning to our room we passed the tressel table in the loby of Hotel Les Poemes De Chartres full of guest, so we did we wonder, had we gone to the correct breakfast! so do check.
The room was up and down many stairs with no lift or anyone to help with your bag and all info for the hotel was on a QR code both not good if you are nearer 80 than 70.
