Avonbridge Hotel

Location was wonderful

Building site

Beautifully presented, great facilities and lovely attention to detail

Had to walk to a separate building in the rain

Our room was in a newly renovated annexed building. Modern with all advertised facilities. It was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent; plenty of choice both hot & cold & freshly cooked.

We had to exit our building to access the main hotel where the bar and breakfast room was located. I orefer to be in the main hotel. It was not made clear in the advert that the selected room would be in an annex. The restaurant is located at the entrance, across from reception. Whilst I love Indian food, the whole place smelled of it, even the morning at breakfast. I feel that this is something that needs addressing as not everyone is a fan of spiced dishes. We did not eat in the restaurant.

Very nice looking hotel from the outside good location for visiting the Glasgow and Strathclyde area

Hotel was in the middle of renovation so a lot of the facilities were unavailable i.e only one restuarant and bar ,bare walls in some public areas and flooring still being done and a reduced menu was on offer, Rooms would benefit from a touch of renovatio as well but I'm sure this will be happening.
