View is spectacular Deluxe Sea View room. Pools are great. Kids would love the water slide. Plenty of sun lounge options. Short walk to town.
Poor service for a 5 star hotel. On check in tried to overcharge by $350 AUD. This was our most expensive stay and my least favourite. Reception staff have little to no English. Expected more from 5 star hotel @ $200 a night. Only hotel we stayed at in Northern Vietnam that wouldn’t help organise a transfer to next destination. Skeleton staffing. Confusing system to have room made up. They don’t come back to make up your room if it’s not done on the first sweep. Has to call reception, who could not understand request to have room made up. Pool food and drinks orders had to be relayed to the kitchen and often what arrived wasn’t what was ordered. They make you wear a colored wrist band to allow you to move around the resort.
Beds are super hard. Asked for a mattress topper and still required an extra doona to sleep on top of.

Lovely room. Restaurant food lovely
Nice pools. Great waterslide.
When we arrived we felt like we were in a theme park. Bright colours. Busy. But we came to love it. Great walk around the coastline as well.
A bit of a walk up a hill to get there as taxis can’t always get street access.
Not a great fan of wearing a wristband for duration of stay.

Location was good …..on a quiet part of the island
Grossly overrated and overpriced. Staff had very poor communication skills with little or no english.
Restaurant staff rarely took the initiative to approach the resident always the other way around and never followed up. Food very average for either breakfast lunch or dinner. Most annoying was the same monotonous piano music track played at every meal time. You became brain dead after 3 days.
