Beautiful property in the middle of the unesco area of Valparaiso. Loved the private outdoor seating area and shared living room. The jazz on Friday and Saturday was an added bonus, as was the free walking tour.
I felt it extremely unusual that they added a tip for the hotel staff automatically to my bill. They said nothing about it and unless I had noticed it and inquired about it, it would have added. They also asked for a tip after each buffet breakfast which we did pay. We did leave a cash tip in the room for the maid.

Excellent location. Walking distance from most attractions. Historic building. Very well maintained. Rooms warm and clean.
Nothing to not like! Would have appreciated a kettle however staff were happy to provide hot water to make tea.

The hotel was lovely. Wonderful room, great view, superb bathroom and amenities. The staff staff were wonderful and the restaurant and food were superb.
The spa was not working at the time which was a shame. The hot tub would not heat. The staff tried their best to fix it but it meant we couldn't use this amenity after our massage day.

The location, history, food and staff all made this the perfect place to stay for a few days. Special thanks for welcoming us so warmly at 1am after flight delays. If you eat int the restaurant, do try the Fig Sour cocktail.
