Depressing, avoid!

Nothing.

Please be aware that the pictures on booking.com are very misleading, and the reality is very different. I always book fairly basic accommodation but this was another level. These apartments are in desperate need of an overhaul or even just some inexpensive replacements to make it bearable. The toilet seat was cracked in half and had been "fixed" several times with filler, which had pubic hair stuck to it? The shower curtain had orange and black mould, cups in kitchen were chipped and dirty, kettle had big chunks of limescale floating in it, bedside cupboard door was hanging off and water damaged/rotting, cutlery drawer filthy, picture on wall with cracked glass, aircon very temperamental (take batteries). It was a very depressing site after a hot 3 hour drive. Beds are like something from a prison cell. Communication with the owner had been great up until we expressed our disappointment and that we were leaving. We were met with a "you get what you pay for" attitude and a refusal to offer even a partial refund. Gave us the incorrect details for our parking space, which resulted in our car rental company calling us just as we were having dinner to say we needed to move the car. The owner wished us "good luck finding more luxurious accommodation." We did book somewhere else, which was worlds apart from this place and only a fraction more in price, so please shop around and don't be misled by good pics and reviews. It's just a shame we had to pay twice. The owners messaged the next morning to say they had second thoughts and would like to offer us a bigger room (still no refund), but we had already left. A bigger room was not the issue, I don't think anything has been replaced since the 80s, even the broken stuff. Terrible.

Absolutely fabulous despite the hill! 😂

Late arrival, accommodation open with keys. Stunning views, beautifully clean. 1 bathroom was enough for 4 ladies & 1 man surprisingly! Great maid service, Marceda lived across the road & regularly emptied bins & changed towels & bedding. Location was no more than a 5 minute walk to bars & restaurants. And 10-15 mins to the beach.

Only issues were: Short but steep hill every day which if we were younger would have been no issue, but as we were all over 65yrs. and a couple struggling with breathing issues it was a problem which is the only thing preventing us from returning.

A great apartment in an ideal location to enjoy Elounda and the surrounding area.

The communication with the owner was excellent, friendly and helpful. On arrival there were several things in the kitchen like water, juice, fruit and tea and coffee. Our balcony was huge and we could see the sea. The apartment is just a few minutes walk from many cafes and places to eat as well as shops (supermarket at the end of the road) The apartment was clean and comfortable (especially the beds). I would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Good base for exploring Elounda / Agios Nikolaos area

Good location, parking available. Owner is very nice and good communication

Not the most clean, however the owner is very nice and it was cleaned when we mentioned this. But the apartment could use a good thorough cleaning in the harder to reach spots, maybe a renovation
