Hotel Can Abril

We loved the decor and ambience of the Can Abril. The room was large and very comfortable with its own terrace and a view of the mountains. The buffet breakfast in the courtyard was very good, a great start to the day. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, kind and responsive both before and during our stay. We had a travel emergency necessitating a change in our booking, and Angel and Nikole were extremely helpful and reassuring. We knew very little about Majorca before we arrived, or the area around Soller, but Nikole was on hand to assist us with very useful advice throughout our visit, always with a smile. The location, not far from the main square, was excellent. There is a supermarket round the corner and many restaurants to choose from within a short walk.

The coffee could have been better! But this is a very minor point. The bathroom was large with plenty of space for toiletries, but the shower in the bath was a bit awkward to get in an out of, especially for aging guests. Grab handles would help.

This lovely boutique hotel has only a handful of rooms, which gives it a calm, personal feel from the moment you arrive. The standout is the inner courtyard, a peaceful spot for a quiet break with a coffee or a book, away from the bustle. The location is superb. You're right in the centre, steps from the main square, and the historic wooden tram to Port de Sóller leaves from nearby. The scenic train to Palma is just as easy to reach. Everything is walkable, so you can leave the car behind. Perfect for anyone who wants charm, tranquillity, and an ideal base for exploring the Sóller valley. Highly recommended.

My suite was on the second floor, reached by a steep staircase with no lift. Once you're up, the room is lovely, but getting a suitcase there is quite an adventure. Pack light, or be ready for a workout!

Perfect location! Short walk to town center for dining and shopping. Room was spacious and bed extremely comfortable. Staff were always available and eager to help. Breakfast options were plenty and filling. We would recommend Ca’n Abril to others without hesitation

Parking location was a little confusing to figure out at first, but once they gave us a map and marked the driving path on it, it was much more manageable.

Nikole was lovely and was trying her best to be helpful with some issues I experienced. The hotel is in a very central location quite close to the downtown of Soller & very easy to get to the tram to Port de Soller as well.

The hotel only offered parking in their private lot for one night and the town itself has very limited public parking that isn't easy to navigate. My room itself had a broken AC unit that was making a very loud noise that made it impossible to try to sleep with so I needed to turn it off. It made the room really hot at night and just overall was not very pleasant. Nikole did deliver a fan to me to help which was so kind, but it did not work well due to the heat Soller was experiencing. The room itself was okay but the AC issue was really dissapointing.
