Hotel Select

From the outside this looks like a quaint boutique French hotel, and it is. It seems to be run by the owners, a very welcoming couple with big smiles and a warm welcome. The bed was huge and so comfortable I didn't want to leave. It's right in the centre of town, beside lots of boutique shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, etc., and is a two minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to the Marina and then onto the beach. However, this hotel has something I have never seen before: an elevator in a tube! It has to be seen to be believed and travelled in to be experienced. If for no other reason, come and stay so that you can use the lift :-)!

Everything was fine

Hotel Select was a lovely place to stay overnight upon our arrival at Nice airport. It was easy to arrive in Beaulieu sur Mer by train and the hotel is so close to the station. They kindly stored our luggage and, when we checked in, were very welcoming and pleasant. She gave us lots of restaurant recommendations. The room was very clean and comfortable, had everything we needed, and everything worked well. It was nice to watch the market in the square while we ate a very good breakfast. All in all a very good stay.

It was located in the centre of such a beautiful location within easy walking distance of beach, train, supermarket and eateries.

The location was very good.

Breakfast only started at 7:00. WE DID NOT HAVE BREAKFAST AS WE HAD TO LEAVE EARLY FOR OUR RETURN HOME. BREAKFAST SHOULD START EARLIER THAN 7:00 AM. ALSO THE ROOM SIZE WAS EXTREMELY SMALL. 2 PEOPLE TRAVELLING NORMALLY HAVE 2 SUITCASES. THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH SPACE IN THE ROOM FOR OPENING 2 SUITCASES.
