About this house rental
Built in an area of Valpantena immersed in the serenity of the countryside of Grezzana, Corte Palazzo Rosso offers visitors a mix of old and new. The area that now houses the accommodation was originally a barn recently renovated according to the latest energy-saving parameters.
It is, however, wanted to keep and revive "the soul" of the original structure reusing some components converted to current needs: the old doors have become headboards, the ridge beam of the roof has become so many tables, the ladder that led to the barn, the original hanging locker.
Moreover, many of the furniture comes from the attic of the Villa and, after careful restoration, now relive their second life. That's so that a recovery of some lost space has created a small resort, where guests will surely spend in total relaxation their holidays, devoting himself to reading in the front garden, equipped with Jacuzzi and sun beds, or discovering the natural beauty the region with cycling, riding, or visiting Verona (easily accessible by car or public transport), Venice (easily reached by train) or Lake Garda.
Patio and private garden: the guests there is a large green area; imagine the sunset while sipping wine on the terrace; Imagine a relaxing soak in the 'tub and a well deserved rest in the shade of the pergola after a day of walking in the city.

An absolutely pristine and peaceful retreat with everything you could need and more. Central location allowed us to take day trips to Lake Garda, Venice, Florence, and more! Federica was a wonderful host, responsive and kind. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay, the photos on VRBO do not do this home justice. Beautiful and very spacious. It was a great location for exploring many of the great destinations in northern Italy. I wish we had more time to spend at the home itself.

Not a whole lot in the little town……. but Verona was close and other wonderful small towns. We went to lake Guarda, Padua and enjoyed the sights and then came back for a restful night in the beautiful house. If you were travelling for cycling, it would be a great spot. Also if you are looking for a place to relax in peace and quiet then this is also a great spot.

We had a fantastic holiday in this magnificent villa. From the day we booked, we had lovely emails from Riccardo and Frederica who have been so helpful and kind during our stay; Nothing was too much trouble and they both were keen to guide us to explore their wonderful region. The house is so peaceful, beautifully decorated and perfectly situated in the little village of Grezzana with easy access to major roads to visit Verona, Montova (Mantua), Venice, lake Garda and much more. The villa is very spacious with lots of bathrooms which was perfect for our stay with 8 sometimes 9 adults.
The hills around Grezzana are perfect for cycling and once again we were blessed as Riccardo is a keen cyclist, he took time to take us on rides through little roads up the mountains, wonderful memories.
I can't praise it enough, you just have to go and try it for yourself!
