I like the location because the place where I have to go to work is really close to the hotel. And there are several places to get food nearby; online ordering also offers many places nearby.
The bed and room are clean and comfortable. I like the seating area near the window, nice to just sit and relaxing. The lighting of the room is really nice (some hotels are bad at placing lightings, hence my comments).
The whole hotel was really clean, quite spotless.
I requested to change room, and my request was attended well. The staff were all really helpful and friendly.
I was first placed on the 11th floor, and there was this noise, like someone was working somewhere in the building. It happened all day and night, and as a result, I couldn't sleep well at night. The handle of my shower in room 1118 was also already toggling. Still working; just need some 'maneuvering' to turn it on.
When I asked to change the room, the staff at the reception said I could move in 30 minutes. But when I went down to get my keys, she said it couldn't be done until before 1 pm (at that time it was still 11-ish). Why said ready in 30 minutes if that was the case?
Breakfast could be better. Could change the fruits, for example, not papaya and melon and salak for 2 days in a row. Coffee was horrible, honestly.

Staff where exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Room was good size and bed was comfortable.
Shower was very hot and strong.
Disposable toothbrushes supplied.
Air conditioning was good.
As a budget hotel this room was definitely up to my expectations.
Floor was slightly dusty. (Just a little)
Bathroom was ageing.
Only shower gel and hand soap supplied. No shampoo.
I noticed some previous guests complained about the towels. They where clean but greyed colour. This is as expected for towels that are usually handed down from higher class hotels. A good bleaching and fabric softener would rejuvenate them.

I stayed at Zest Hotel in Jemursari Surabaya for 3 nights and got breakfast
the menu has many variants, there are only a few menus that are the same every day but all of them are quite tasty and the service is pleasant
I think it's good enough for the price, only room repairs are needed, such as wall paint, devices in the bathroom such as a clogged drain washtavel, the exhaust doesn't work
