Hostel is inside an older building in an alleyway but very convenient location next to a mall and subway station, few restaurants and convenience stores nearby, very easy to get to from the Kaohsiung train station as well
Price is reasonable as well for solo travellers who stay for short term
Very spacious room and beds, shampoo and shower gel provided
there’s eating area on the first floor lobby with a small kitchenette where you can cook light meals, also a big seating area with a couch and space for guests to put extra luggage right next to the reception area
Should get bigger garbage cans for the bathrooms as they get fill up and often spill over everyday by the morning
Should open more windows to let fresh air inside instead of always turning on the AC especially when summer is already over
Need stronger air ventilation for the bathrooms , air get stuffy especially by the night time after many people have taken showers
Sometimes there are ants crawling on the walls inside the bedrooms and shower stalls
No free lockers provided unlike most other hostels

The staff was rather welcoming even if a bit of a strict aura, but was able to help me find my bus for next day. The place was clean and quite close to the subway station.
- No curtains to the bed to isolate you.
- The air conditioning is blowing freezing air right on you !
- I had to listen people coming in and out of the room the whole night, turning on the light.
- There was some issue, somehow at midnight, a girl arrived and we were 9 in a room for 8. It has been a mess the whole night with people asking you your name and so on … and never had an explanation for what happened …
- bathroom for men and women are shared !
