Very nice people in reception , apartment was very clean

With planes roaring just above your houses, you only get to sleep when the airfield lets you. The bathroom door should be a sliding door, as the current one prevents free access to the sink.

It was in a good location, not far from the beach. Room comfortable, shower very good. Swimming pool adaquate.

Noise from aircraft being so close to airport. Balcony furniture very uncomfortable, no sun, breakfast poor.

The people were friendly and accommodating. The pool was nice for a quick dip after driving.

The property was on a direct flight pattern for the airport. The jets were loud. We asked for a queen bed but got two regular beds. The real restaurants were 2 km away

The room was a good size, shower worked well and was a good temperature. No extra charge for the air conditioning which worked efficiently. Reasonable size fridge in the room which met our needs and provision of a sharp knife was handy for making sandwiches for our lunch. We found the bed comfortable and slept well once we had the balcony door shut to drown out the noise of the very vocal cockerels! Balcony was a reasonable size with table and chairs and a rack to hang out wet swimwear etc. Hotel is under 10 minutes' walk from town where there are several restaurants catering to all food preferences. The pool was a good temperature and there was plenty of availability of sun loungers. These were comfy with deep cushions. Breakfast was served as a pre-filled plate each morning - cheese, ham, toast, jam, cake, cherry tomatoes and assorted fruit which varied day to day (usually melon plus grapes or a peach or pear). Coffee or tea of your choice and fruit juice.

The hotel was OK for our needs but very tired and in need of some redecoration. The pool area especially could do with TLC. A lot of limescale around the edges and broken drainage covers. Pool bar was not open at all. Back to the breakfast mentioned above - whilst we felt that it was alright for the cost, there was no consideration given to the fact that we had asked for vegan/vegetarian options (apart from the omission of ham from my plate!) Smoking was permitted in the breakfast area which we didn't like and also on this subject, the hotel is advertised on this site as non smoking but the owner and others smoked in the reception/lounge area. This didn't really affect our room as we were on the first floor but as others have said, it would definitely permeate the rooms on the ground floor. This may not bother everyone, but it certainly bothered us and I think that it should be made clearer on this site that this is NOT a non smoking hotel. On the whole it met our needs and we were reasonably pleased with what we received for the price. We would not return.
