I am a frequent traveller, I don’t usually write reviews, but I think this one is worth writing.
We were travelling for work to attend a trade fair. As we booked just a few days before it started, there weren’t many options left in Hannover, and the ones available were ridiculously expensive.
We don’t know the city, but we came across this hotel, which seemed quite traditional and family-run. I wasn’t sure it would be the best fit for a group travelling for work, so we had some doubts. However, it wasn’t far from the Messe, and we had our own car.
So, if you’re also unsure, here’s my take: the hotel is very good, and getting to the Messe is no problem. It takes about 20 minutes along a straightforward road.
We arrived very late, but the hotel sent us clear instructions in advance on how to get into our rooms. They also offered us the use of the shared kitchen, where we could prepare something to eat before going to bed.
The rooms are newly refurbished, very large and clean. The beds are comfortable and spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful, and parking is no problem.
If you arrive tired, there are places to eat in the village. If you have some time before heading to the fair or visiting clients, you can also find reasonably priced buffet breakfasts outside the hotel. And there’s always a shared kitchen available if you need it.
If we come back to the fair next year or need to visit the Hannover area again, we won’t look anywhere else.
Good hotel, good service, fair price and a friendly, personal approach. 10/10.
