B&B Torre Porta Marina

Luca is a “10” regarding hosts. He was available for questions, help us with directions but most importantly the morning we left we needed a cab to the train station. We ask Luca to call and we waited outside for the cab. We were the last people to check out so B&B was empty. Luca and his wife came out about 5-10 minutes and looked like they were going to do errands on moped. Luca saw us that we had not been picked up, took his helmet off, got his phone out and followed up with taxi without us even asking and then he waited until he saw the taxi coming up the road and the guy motioned he was picking us up. Only then did he and his wife got on the moped and left. That is someone who takes being a host seriously. We got to the train with plenty and time to spare and even took an earlier train to our next location. We found out that there was an accident that slowed traffic. There are not a lot of taxis and only one main road from old town to port/beach area so it is important to allow extra time. The morning breakfast he was is the breakfast room the entire time. This was even after people ate their breakfast, in case they wanted another coffee, etc. We did just a night taking cab to the B&B, checked in and then took the very easy walk path to the beach/port area right that was next to the B&B. We had a great evening at one of the beach clubs and then had on of our best dinners of our trip at Stella Marina Restaurant. When I ordered at Stella Marina I thought I am getting pasta with some lobster pieces, instead I got half a lobster with the pasta, delicious. Also the inside it is decorated with amazing LEGO sculptures and items from the past as well. It is a very cool place. I included some of the fun decor and the footpath to the right of the building to get to the beach

There was nothing I didn’t like!

Very cozy atmosphere. Comfortable rooms, nicely decorated. Amazing views to the mountains and the river.

I have nothing I didn’t like

The size of the room was very good, with large double bed and sofa. Breakfast was okay, but not that much choice

tithe bathroom door did not close properly and I complained but the owner could not understand why I was complaining. This door was opaque glass so you could not use the toilet at night without waking your partner. There was also a windows type hole in the bathroom wall, totally open? The ceiling was very low at the edges of the room and I banged my head. The shower in the Bath would not work and could not understand how you turn it on? Such a long way from the station, far more than the claimed 800 metres and a long climb up the steep hill to get to the property Not impressed.
