My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Mountain View Hotel. Its located in a quiet street not far from the busyness of Lakeside. The rooftop has wonderful views of the mountain peaks. What we are most grateful for was the friendliness and assistance by Dhiraj, the manager, in ensuring our comfort and arranging our Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek which we were not able to do in advance. This included applying for and sending us permits even before we arrived in the country, securing a porter and excellent sherpa as requested, checking and refining our trek itinerary and practical aspects as needed, "jeep" trips to and from the trailhead, and transport to and from the airport. He accommodated our wishes to arrange our own accommodation and food during the hike (the sherpa very helpful in making bookings from day to day as we went along). Dhiraj checked in periodically with the sherpa during the hike to ensure all was proceeding well, and even liaised with a family member back home when we lost cell phone reception for a day. I can't fault his excellent service in facilitating an awesome holiday and trek!
A very minor issue, and perhaps its our own oversight, but we were unaware the electrical switch outside our bedroom was required to be on for the aircon to work. We figured this out on day 2, so just one night without the aircon.

Good family run town on a sideroad road off the main Lakeside Road. The hotel was clean, well organised and professionally run, the staff were pleasant and helpful. There's a lovely, shady garden where you can sit and the roof garden gives views of the Annapurna mountains.

Really clean and affordable rooms. The owner is really friendly and can help you out with information or any bookings you want to make. The location is perfect because get the quietness to get some sleep but youre still very close to the main lakside street whete you can go eat out and shop around

Rooms were big.
Hotel is located in street 1 which is very far from main happening places (Street 10 - Street 20). We had to walk nearly 1 KM for shops and good quality food. Bathroom door lock was broken, main door lock is almost broken, sink tabs were loose. Hot water is very mild. There was no stuff to help with the bags.
