Clean, modern, great location

It was in the perfect location in Trastevere. There were bars and cafes right outside and only a few steps to the taxi stand. I walked to the colosseum and the Vatican museum from the guest house. The room was also impeccably clean.
The layout was a bit quirky. The toilet was raised so you had to use a kiddies step stool to get onto it and the shower was small. Also, the stairs were so steep, although I knew this when I booked it, my knees were not quite so arthritic then and it was a struggle getting up and down. I did book my room including breakfast but it turned out this wasn’t even an option so I don’t know why booking.com offered it.

Trastevere is fun and the location was great. The room was quirky and funky but it had everything I needed, including a supremely comfortable bed!
I’m always nervous about steps on the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night but it was light enough to see where I was going.

The location is just perfect — Trastevere, but not too deep into the neighbourhood, and not far from the city's main sights.
The B&B has this Italian spirit, this charm, these narrow and steep stairs, and a sense that you are the owner of this apartment, not just a guest.
There is a restaurant just below the B&B's windows. The constant sound of conversations works like white noise, which is good for sleeping (not always, but usually). However, if you like sleeping with the windows open in a quieter place, you should think twice about it.
Also, the B&B took my requests into account and gave us a room on the top floor. Thanks for that! It was important to me and a pleasant surprise.
The bed linen was clean.
In my opinion, the "Double or Twin Room" ("Poeta"), where I stayed, is too worn out.
A cheap chipboard cabinet was falling apart and looked extremely unpresentable. I didn't think that furniture of such poor quality could be found in a place like this.
A safe that could be carried away by a three-year-old child also looks out of place.
The room door is coming apart and scrapes against the floor. You need to make an effort to open it, and if you come back late, you can't open it without disturbing your neighbours.
The shower stall is very small, and the water drains poorly.
The bed linen was clean, but the room itself wasn't clean enough.
