Difficult to get to ocean. Black rock not sand.
Located down a steep hill. Not walkable and not close to a walkable area.
Excursions & Food in Euros and expensive for Indonesia standards. This might be the norm for Amed.
Was traveling for a month and found the food here to be one of the least desired.
Chicken curry had no real flavor other than salty, no spice even when asked if wanted medium. Portions were very small although I think Indonesia portions are smaller in general. Breakfast was really good tho.
Need more electrical outlets & lighting inside villa aside from natural. Hard to see at night.
Shower handles are a little wonky and the rain shower not super strong. Some of the rain can kinda sprays at angles rather than straight down.
Offered tea & instant coffee in room but the one coffee had been opened. Tea bags were also opened, stale. I had my own coffee and was happy to have the kettle to heat water
Was staying at another hotel at top of hill and asked for transfer. Was told they’d normally charge but in exchange for a review it would be free. It was 450ft.
Was asked to fill out a review form before leaving property, very uncomfortable on the spot.

Very nice spacious Villa with a very big private pool. The small resort also offers a bigger infinity pool in front of the restaurant which was very nice as well. The private Villa with two bedrooms is quite big and looks modern and clean with old style elements. Our family really enjoyed the quality of the Villa combined with the spacious private pool and garden around the Villa. Breakfast is served in the Villa or in the restaurant, the breakfast and dining options are very good and plenty of choices. In front of the resort snorkeling is possible although I would recommend to bring water shoes given the amount of rocks in front of the resort. 500m next to the resort a nice beach is available which also have a lot of snorkeling options. Also around the resort a lot of dining options are available. Overall, I really nice location.

Everything. Beautiful views, the pool was so lovely overlooking the sea. The property has its own well so the water was drinkable. The staff do kind & attentive. The food at the restaurant delicious. The roll was a nice size & bed was comfy.
Really nothing.
