A great older style motel in a great location next to the bowling club. Bowls club has great food at decent prices, esp the Chinese buffet. The manageress was very helpful and is a credit to the property. As the weather was bad we got a nice free game of mini putt putt and could have had ten pin bowls also but ran out of time.

Great location near the Bowling Club. Room clean and staff try to be helpful
1. The TV did not work. The reception person was very helpful in trying to get the TV to work. She sought advice from other staff but was unable to resolve the issue. In the end we chose to move to another room.
2. Note during a previous stay at Palms Motel there was no hot water in our room. We had to use a shower in a vacant room on the other side of the motel.
It is obvious that the facilities are not maintained to an acceptable standard.
