Location was ideal for access to the old city and with a couple of supermarkets within 100 yards. The view from the balcony was great, looking over the city and the sea - the trade off for the view is the 77 steps that had to be climbed from the road entrance every time you returned to the apartment. The photos of the apartment were 100% accurate.
The climb back up to the apartment - whilst we appreciate that Dubrovnik could be called the city of steps, knowing that this awaits you each time you go out isn't the best incentive to "pop out" for anything. Also, the only seating was two bar stool type chairs or on the bed - there were two more standard type chairs on the balcony but we didn't have great weather for the time we were there, so those weren't really usable for us.

Eine wunderschöne Wohnung in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums. Das gemütliche und helle Zimmer hat einen Balkon mit Blick auf die Altstadt. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Der Vermieter ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, ist jederzeit erreichbar und beantwortet alle Fragen umgehend. Herzlichen Dank für die Berücksichtigung unserer individuellen Wünsche!
Es gibt Hunderte von Stufen in der Stadt und auch auf dem Weg zur Wohnung – dafür kann der Vermieter jedoch nichts!
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Altstadt nicht mit dem Auto befahren werden darf!!! Das bedeutet, dass Sie auch nicht direkt bis zur Wohnung vorfahren können – der Vermieter wird Sie im Vorfeld darauf hinweisen.
ACHTUNG, das ist sehr wichtig!
Wenn Sie im Parkhaus „Ilijina Glavica“ in Dubrovnik parken – das nur wenige Minuten von der Wohnung entfernt liegt –, kann das richtig teuer werden. Nach der Einfahrt haben Sie genau 15 Minuten Zeit, um Ihr Einfahrtsticket umzutauschen. Dies müssen Sie am Informationsschalter erledigen; andernfalls zahlen Sie den regulären Stundentarif von 7 € pro Stunde! Leider weist einen niemand darauf hin – auch wir wurden nicht gewarnt! Statt 80 € für zwei Tage haben wir am Ende 322 € für 46 Stunden bezahlt. Diese ganze Abzocke ist offiziell erlaubt und zielt darauf ab, die Unaufmerksamkeit von Touristen auszunutzen – besonders wenn man eine andere Sprache spricht!
Ich empfehle, eine andere Parkmöglichkeit zu wählen: Sie liegt vielleicht etwas weiter weg, ist aber günstiger!
Dadurch wurde der gesamte positive Eindruck von Dubrovnik zunichtegemacht!

The view over the Old Town was amazing. The kitchen was well appointed, very clean and worked very well for us. There is a market very close by and a bus stop right in front of the house. The bed was also extremely comfortable. The host was very responsive.
There were many stairs and it was a bit hard to find at first as you have to make many turns along a shared stairwell.
