The staff was friendly, and the food in the restaurant was very good. The room very spacious.

The hotel was less charming than expected; less cosy than expected, e.g., sitting in the 'hotel bar' (basically the entrance hall) was rather cold); the internet in the room did not work. For me, it was nice but clearly did not match the 'fabulous' ratings it had previously received.
