If you would like to stay in a genuine French style chateau then this would tick all the boxes. Lovely location, would be much better to stay in the summer and we able to make use of the outdoor pool, terrace with river views etc. A bit cold and wet in October!
Pricey dinner as expected really, but you're paying for the location and experience. My white wine was served warm which was disappointing. Breakfast was a buffet, for the price I would have preferred breakfast to be served and ordered from a menu.

Lovely location and a very impressive building. Dinner was very nice but breakfast is expensive for a continental buffet.
There were a lot of shield bugs in our room when we checked in. We opened the windows to clear them out but they kept coming in through gaps in the old windows. I spoke to the reception staff who said it was part of being surrounded by trees at this time of year and there was nothing they could do. We spent a long time trying to get 40+ bugs out of the room to sleep and could still hear them flying about all night.
Generally an unpleasant situation and didn’t feel staff were helpful in trying to resolve.

Amazing facility! Beautiful and well preserved, the restaurant is great!
It is definitely not a 5 star hotel, more of a 4. Note that you can get a room completely different than the photos (it shows only one or two room models but there are more)

This is an amazing property, so beautiful and with a great potential. Cute spaces, the views are also nice. Great location.
There is no maintenance, the bathroom had rusted and broken items, the bath door couldn’t be closed. There were dozens of insects in the room, flying, i could not sleep.
They were nice to change the room for us, the second room was way better but the insects were still flying.
