The breakfast was absolutely incredible, with a fantastic and diverse selection. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to accommodate our daughter’s lactose intolerance, which we truly appreciated.
Throughout our stay, the staff were exceptionally attentive, friendly, and professional.
The pool was beautifully warm and perfect for relaxing.
A special mention also goes to the bartender, who was incredible! The signature cocktails were creative, delicious, and a real highlight of our evenings - along with the sunset views.
The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous and feels like a destination in its own right. We found ourselves wanting to spend most of our time enjoying the beautiful grounds, pool, food, cocktails, and peaceful atmosphere rather than venturing out.
The nearby town is safe and has a wonderfully authentic, old-world feel, but it is very quiet and offers limited shopping or recreational activities. For us, that simply meant the resort became the main attraction and the perfect place to relax and unwind. If you do want to explore beyond the resort, having a car is helpful, and the nearby salt flats are definitely worth a visit.
Overall, we actually enjoyed the peaceful setting—it made the stay feel even more relaxing and secluded.

A lovely historic property with great spacious rooms (Junior Suite with Vineyard View) and good facilities. Lunch, Breakfast and dinner was really good and the locations wonderful. In a good position to see the surrounding area, but you need a car. When we arrived we went for lunch around the pool and the view and feel of the place is amazing.
Our wine tasting was a bit limited and could have been done better, although the cellar is great.

The property had a beautiful courtyard and sunset view at the pool.
Be warned that the rooms with balconies had no tables as shown in their pictures!! We did ask for one and we had no feedback from the staff at all ! There is NO privacy when sitting on the balcony as it is so close and on top of each other (photo attached). The long corridors also makes you feel like you are in a huge hotel somewhere at an airport! Do not book this place if you want an intimate holiday!
The resort host weddings every day, so it is a very busy and big hotel!! Not a relaxing place to be for sure!
Also expect sachets of Nescafé coffee in a five star resort hotel room. Is this Italian culture?
Dinner is also not great and drinks were very expensive. Breakfast in the courtyard is unbearable with hundreds of bees attacking you! We had to sit inside in a stuffy room to get away from the bees.
