Very well maintained hotel dating back 300 years. The decorations in the restaurant and bar area were excellent. Friendly efficient staff.
Short walk over the river bridge into town centre.
Parking limited spaces close to hotel.

Friendly staff - with a courteous approach. Restaurant provided good food at a fair price. Breakfast service, quality of food all hit the excellent box.
Rooms temperature is hard to control and a modernisation would be good - but clean and well presented, equalling value for money (not a dislike as I would stay again without hesitation).

The location, for us, was perfect.
The reception rooms were beautifully decorated. The receptionist was really lovely and welcoming.
Our room was very basic. Our shower did not work- cold water just dripped from the shower when turned on. It was very disappointing as we were going to a function that evening and had travelled a long way, so needed to refresh.
