I enjoyed my stay in the Seorak HOT Spring Mammoth Resotel. Very close to the mountains with good connection to Sokcho city center, less than 30 minutes away. The hotel serves good breakfast and the stay is quiet! It's great for those who seek to run away from city chaos.
The location seems a little bit abandoned, because of some surrounding buildings.

Cet hôtel devait être vraiment bien il y a quelques années...
Les chambres sont spacieuses avec une petite kitchenette
Le petit déjeuner est en libre service au sous-sol
Le prix est vraiment raisonnable
et bien qu'éloigné de 5km de l'entrée du parc, cela évite tout de même les embouteillages si nous avions logé à Sokcho
Hôtel vieillissant dans un village fantôme !
L'enseigne qui penche, la porte d'entrée qui ne fonctionne plus, la marche d'escalier pas réparée, le grand espace de réception envahit d'objet...
Tout ce petit village situé à environ 5km à pied du parc Seoraksan est laissé à l'abandon : quel dommage !
Beaucoup de bâtiments abandonnés qui tombent en ruine sous les feuillages, cela donne une atmosphère étrange.
Peut-être que cela va changer car des efforts viennent d'être fait visiblement pour re-dynamiser le coin : une superbe passerelle a été construite le long de la rivière et serpente en hauteur entre les arbres pour proposer une jolie balade.
Souhaitons que les bâtiments soient rénovés !

Das Zimmer war zwar sauber hat aber streng gerochen. Sehr desolat, nicht liebevoll, nicht gepflegt.
Das Personal war auch nicht sehr gesprächig, Frühstück haben wir zwar gebucht, konnten aber keines finden.
