Really great location to many good hikes. V dog friendly. Great place and enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi. Responsive hosts. Note central heating is controlled by hosts but they promptly put it on when requested by text and I was pleasantly surprised how quick the living space warmed up despite the open plan. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
No dislikes although the green fire safety lights in bedrooms were unusual. I get why there and no doubt gave some light to room so you could leave room without knocking into the low beams. Each bedroom had one- they are at chest level. Some feedback points- coat hooks to the left as you come in would be useful. A grater, a chopping board and a broom is needed. There’s a large fridge freezer and another small fridge under worktop- perhaps replace this one with a washing machine?

Charmingly converted stables and loft, full of character. BBQ in the yard overlooking a wonderful view. Well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were very spacious with comfortable beds. Just be aware of low beams you need to duck under! Sauna & Jacuzzi in separate building, what a nice bonus and very much appreciated.
Only one toilet (but spa & sauna more than made up for it). Only thing we really didn't like was the velux windows had no blinds or curtains to block the early morning light which woke us up - we had to block it with newspaper.
