Very roomy apartment. Great location to all facilities in Leeuwarden. Easy access with an elevator.
Linen was a bit low quality. The living room lighting was dark.

The place itself is very good. Big and clean. Good location.
The hallway to it is smelly from a restaurant. Constant humming sound from the neighbor building.

The property is in a very good location. The apartment is a really good space with the potential to be an outstanding property. We had been made aware that it was in the night club area and potentially noisy, however, while we were aware of a bit of noise in the living area, the bedroom was well secluded and there was just the faintest sound of percussive beats which did go on until the next morning.
Had there been more attention to detail, the property would be excellent. However, there were a few issues that let it down. First and most importantly, the bottom sheet on the bed didn't quite fit the deep mattress. There is really no excuse for this. Go and buy a bigger sheet. On the first night I became aware that not only was the sheet too small but it hadn't been made properly. I had to strip the bed and make the sheet fit better to stop it from coming away from the mattress. This is really basic. Secondly, as a self catering apartment the cooking facilities were not adequate to cook a proper meal for 2 people. There were just 2 small saucepans, which wouldn't be enough to cook pasta for example. It's fine if people want to eat out but as a SC apartment, there should be plenty of resources to cook full meals. Thirdly, the sink in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned and had a layer of dirt consistent with a sink that hadn't been properly cleaned for some time. This is not acceptable. There were some smaller issues as well.
