Fantastic location in a residential area with lots of restaurants and good access to the rest of Kyoto.
Apartment had everything we needed - a couple of hooks would be useful - and the bed was huge and comfortable. The staff were very helpful in receiving our couriered luggage and letting us know it had arrived.

Spacious and well equipped that beats the price. Fully functional kitchen and utensils. Even comes with washing machine.

We really enjoyed our stay at Naganoya! It's tucked in a quiet residential neighborhood with narrow, charming streets, about 10 minute walk from train/subway connections and the Nijo Palace. Just a few minutes walk from a shopping street with supermarket, drug store, terrific small restaurants. Check-in was easy and our room was clean and well-appointed. AC worked great. The elevator was appreciated as my husband has mobility issues.
Our room was quite small for three of us, and the beds were very, very firm. But not deal breakers!

close to big attractions like nijo castle and the long strip of stalls. you can leave your luggage until check in time and also rent bikes.
fleas. the room had fleas and we all got bitten. one even tagged along in my luggage. we stayed at a hotel in tokyo before this one with no problem, so it was definitely this hotel in kyoto. as soon as we left, the flea bites stopped appearing.
