This is a very welcoming, safe and comfortable place to stay. It is set in beautiful gardens being private and has everything that you would need. The owners are lovely and we had the best breakfast here of all our trip.
The accommodation isn’t far from the wine tour stop. We did some of this but preferred to do it independently so hired electric bikes from a place close by to explore the vineyards snd surrounding countryside.
There are plenty of eating options very close by.
A great place to stay if you are visiting the vineyards snd surrounding.
All good.

Very nice and quiet apartment in the garden, very delicious breakfast and super friendly hosts. I can strongly recommend Cottage on 55.

We loved our stay and wished we had more time there! Erna and Guido were wonderful people and exceptional hosts. The breakfasts were amazing and we loved being able to walk to central Franschhoek!
We loved everything!

Beautiful location just 5 minutes from the town centre. Everything was perfect with lovely finishing touches of fresh flowers. Guido and Erna couldn't have been more welcoming, and the breakfasts were simply outstanding.
Nothing!
