From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found somewhere special - the absolute antidote to modern, hectic life.
Immersed in nature but with rustic luxury. Complete peace.
Our garden room had complete privacy with daily monkey, elephant shrew and lizard visitors. Our children couldn’t believe it!
The staff were kind, helpful and easy going. The food was just delicious with a constantly changing menu but also staples for our fussy children! The cocktails were also exceptional. A perfect addition to watching the sun setting!!
The free paddle boards, snorkelling gear and kayaks were an absolute bonus. Our children loved the ping pong, table football and pool table too.
We absolutely LOVED being able to step straight from the garden steps into the sea at high tide. The bluest water we’ve ever seen.
Unguja Lodge is a little slice of paradise. A totally unique and special place that we will remember always.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce lodge. Que ce soit notre bungalow au calme avec une belle vue sur l'océan, le personnel adorable, la nourriture excellente (les cocktails aussi🍹), les sorties proposées, tout était parfait. Un grand merci à Audrey la manager pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité.

I had the most amazing time here! I enjoyed the food, the people, the village, the pool, my room etc. It was so good that I decided to come back and added a few extra days to my stay. It’s magical! As a female solo traveler I felt welcome, safe and taken care for.
