The village itself is charming with small shops and a few restaurants within walking distance and we appreciated the parking onsite. The quality of the included breakfast was also very good with a variety of pastries, yogurt, cereal, eggs, bacon, meats and cheeses and breads.
We found the room to be very dated - no easy bedside access to wall sockets (unless you wanted to unscrew the bed from the wall). The walls are incredibly thin - you can hear everything below you, above you and outside your door. The spa is completely separate, they didn't even try to sell us on using it so we didn't bother - this seems like a huge miss for a 'wellness hotel'. The breakfast was great but the people working there in the morning were far from friendly. We would not recommend a stay here and were overall underwhelmed.

The beauty of the area is undeniable. The restaurants were great. The breakfast was wonderful.
It was difficult to communicate our needs for directions to the spa. The room we stayed in did not have any air conditioning. Air conditioning was listed under general on the website when I booked.
The shower area had no wall or curtain to keep water off the floor and made it slippery. The kitchenette had no tools, utensils or cups, plates.
