Location was perfect
Historical 13th century building
Pool area fine
Our balcony was great overlooking pool with sun in afternoon/evening
Bed very comfy
Receptionist was very friendly & helpful
Initially given room without pool view and balcony which had been on booking - receptionist changed our room without hassle but would have been an issue if no other room available.
AC was tricky - needed to stand on bed for remote to work
Too much smoking occurring in public areas

The hotel is perfectly located near the city centre, very close to most tourist spots, and yet hidden enough to avoid the noise from tourists outside. The rooms are very well-equipped and clean. The quality of the breakfast and the pool are perfect for spending a slow day relaxing within the hotel. Above all, I have to commend the hospitality of the hosts and their sympathy.
The rooms are equipped with large freezers that periodically turn on and make noise. This may be annoying at night if you need a quiet place to rest.

Excellent location in centre of the old town of Rethymnon. Hotel is like a little oasis with lovely swimming pool and areas to relax. We had a very large room with attached kitchen area and bathroom. It’s a great place to relax and just go out into the town to eat sightsee explore. Good airconditioning and WiFi. Friendly staff.

The location was perfect and situated right in the centre. The pool area was very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast also had many different selections of meat and food.
Unfortunately the air conditioning piping was leaking in our bathroom. This caused the room to flood.
