This was my second stay in this hotel and, if I would return to Nanjing, I will most likely re-book this hotel again:
The location of this hotel on metro line 1 is absolute masterclass when it comes to exploring Nanjing as a tourist. You are both close to the center, to the lake, to the purple mountain and to the museums and other historical places. Easy to reach from both main railway stations.
The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable. All necessary facilities were available in the room.
The view of the city center from the room was brilliant. A less obvious but nonetheless important aspect of the room is the safety aspect of the windows as to avoid fatal accidents (from that high up the block).
Breakfast was great with plenty of choice, both in European style food and in Chinese style.
High quality of service by the service manager and her staff, who came personally to inform us about a necessary intervention regarding the water system. It caused no inconvenience.
The room was relatively hot (in winter time) and the airco didn't function properly enough to bring down the temperature. Opening the (first two) windows helped, except for the last night. I think it should be possible to also open the third window.
There is a swimming pool in the hotel but no information was given during check-in on how to use it, if there are additional costs, etc. Would be nice if this could be added spontaneously by the check-in staff (but from my personal point-of-view, this is only a minor thing).

The Family room is extraordinary, the hotel is clean and the breakfast is really reach. Position excellent
Just one English speaker man in the staff of a 5 star hotel is not very convenient.

It is close to Subway station for line 1. The bath room for family room is big. It has a grocery store at the basement which proves to be convenient for family.
The quality of food in hotel restaurant is so so. The swimming pool is on separate level from steam room. The room is not vacuumed unless requested and the housekeeping is basic and superficial. The front desk doesn't know much of the service in the hotel and not mentioning info slightly outside of the hotel.
