The property was clean, the staff friendly and efficient and the decor was quirky and fun. Breakfast was fabulous - cooked to order and very plentiful. There is a bus stop out the front making it very simple to visit the Historic Dockyard (recommended) or the town centre. We stayed 2 years ago and enjoyed it so much we returned.
The sound proofing is not good. We could hear other guests walking around at night. This is the design of the property and no one’s fault but light sleepers may be disturbed.

The size of the room (Glamorous) was generous. The staff were so welcoming and friendly
It just needs some TLC and attention to small maintenance issues that would make a difference. Bathroom - some mould; the flooring isn’t great.
Also, sound travels easily between rooms - heard conversations and an alarm going off at 6am

Location with perfect for what we wanted and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice with a fair variety. Jacuzzi was very nice and relaxing. Very large suite.
The property could do with some maintenance and a lick of paint here and there. Questionable stains on love seat. Lights were very dim in bathroom and for the size of the room which was quite large, it felt cramped as too much large furniture cramped in main part of bedroom but no real space to get ready… loveseat, desk and wardrobe should be switched around which would make it feel more spacious.
