Loved the view from our room over looking the lake and mountain. It was so nice to sit at the table in front of of the window while enjoying our morning coffee and enjoying the view. Also liked the many quiet areas of the hotel where you could just relax and also enjoy the incredible views . Nice little treats were provided such as the morning coffee in the lobby with chocolates and the ice cream popsicles just outside of the onsen area. The staff were very friendly.
We knew it would be a bit of a hike up from the road to the hotel but certainly doable even for a 78 year old! There were not a lot of options for restaurants within walking distance. We did enjoy the Konami restaurant which specializes was just a 4 min walk away. Also the bus stop is just a 4 min walk away as well.

The staff was very kind and helpful, it was my birthday, so they were even kinder! The room as big, with the most amazing view of Fuji. Everything very clean the hot spring was very nice.
