7 / 10Good·Oct 2026

Comfortable beds and a fan provided which was a nice touch as the rooms were warm and the room faced the front street which made it too noisy for open windows. Staff were very friendly and the pub downstairs was cosy with friendly local vibes. Free wifi was great and good strength, even at the top of the hotel. generous with the towels and plenty of coffee and tea and even biscuits.

Toilet seat was broken so kinda impossible to use. Breakfast only available when ordered in advance so was too busy to organise and I didn't get to try, but I like that there's no waste that way.

All a bit run down, the surrounding area was tatty, the room was incredibly hot, found out next day that all the hot water pipes run through this room
