Comfortable old place in a great spot just down from the Cathedral and Plaza Mayor, run by a friendly young man we didn't see much of. Quiet room with a great view; no A/C but it was comfortable enough even hot days if you kept the windows shuttered till evening.
No breakfast was available, and though it was presented as a temporary situation it didn't seem like there'd been breakfast for a while. We used the coffee maker (which required some fiddling) and refrigerator in the dining room, a passable alternative but not what we were promised. Likewise the street parking suggested by the write-up above wasn't there when we arrived, and we parked a good distance away.
Despite those surprises, on balance it was a good stay in a very interesting little city.

Really good location and value for money. Good sized room. Quiet and a good night's sleep.
Dark entrance hall which was a bit smelly this time. Previously stayed here and didnt have that problem.

"The host was the most lovely host I ever encountered in a hotel. The place is super central, and the price is almost embarrassingly cheap"
