Breakfast was excellent and plenty of it. Since we were the only two guests staynig at the property we were treated as VIPs. Selection of food for dinner was excellent and locally sourced ans well. Everything is made on site. Recommend strukli and duck with mlinci. Wine selection is a whole separate experience. Some of the best wines we have tried on our trip. Grape varieties we have never heard of, all native to the area. Grapes are grown on site. Overall a great experience!!
The approach to the property is risky at best and dangerous at its worst. It is a very narrow road that climbs up and up. If there is another vehicle coming toward one has to back up and hope to stay on the firm terrain. I have no idea how tour busses make it up or down. We understand that the plans call for building a conferences center. Not sure how is it possible without widening the road.

The location is stunning, and the room was very clean.
The biggest issue was that our windows faced the restaurant. Early in the morning around 5:30-6:00 AM, staff started cleaning the terrace with a very loud vacuum cleaner that did not stop until around 7:00 AM, which felt quite disrespectful since we were looking forward to a peaceful night in such a quiet region.

Google leads you around for few km before you arrive - the direct road is somehow hidden and easily missed.

Beautiful sceneary, calm environment, great pool.
Rooms don’t reflect the price you pay. The shower was overflooding whenever you’d use it, bed is not the most comfortable and we didn’t have any daily room clean up. Breakfast was very basic.
