Staff was exceptional. Could not have been nicer or more helpful. Location excellent. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Good water pressure in shower.
Rooms are small. Could not control room temperature.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel nestled in a small side street just off the main drag in the center of Dubrovnik. While you are merely steps away from everything the city has to offer, you feel like you are entering a sanctuary once you step into the lobby. Our room was on the 4th floor, so we got some extra exercise walking up the steps a few times a day. The payoff was a wonderful view of the rooftops in two directions. The other benefit of being on the 4th floor is that you are only one floor away from Above 5, the fabulous rooftop restaurant where they also serve breakfast daily. The convenience, views, location and helpfulness of the staff far outweighed the stairs.
The room was a little snug, but it was not a big deal since we were out and about most of the time. Also, be ready to get your steps in if you are on a higher level.
