Villa Nautica Paradise Island Resort

What I appreciated the most was how consistently kind, attentive, and thoughtful everyone was. They truly cared about each guest’s individual needs, preferences, and expectations, taking the time to understand what each person wanted from their vacation and overall experience. They made every effort to ensure that everything was tailored to our preferences and that our stay would be as perfect as possible. We had Glory as our dedicated advisor, and thanks to her, our experience went truly beyond our expectations. She was incredibly involved, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure we felt comfortable, cared for, and happy throughout our entire vacation. Her personal touch made a real difference, and we are truly grateful for everything she did to make our stay so special.

We had a lovely stay overall, and I want to mention that all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, there were a few things that affected our experience. Our Island Host could have been more proactive in telling us about activities and things to do during the day. We also needed a few items during our stay and had to arrange getting them ourselves from Malé. Since the resort is in the middle of the sea, having assistance with getting essential items would be very helpful, especially for families with young children. We found quite a lot of ants around the room and on the porch, as well as a lizard and unfortunately a cockroach inside the room. We understand that insects and wildlife are part of being on a tropical island, but having them inside the room was not ideal, especially with our one-year-old who wanted to play on the floor. One of the most disappointing things was winning a competition on our second day but not being told what the prize was. We only found out at checkout that we had won a dolphin sunset cruise worth around $96 per person. Unfortunately, by then it was too late to enjoy it. This was simply a communication issue that could have been easily avoided. The Full Board package was also unclear. Our booking did not mention that soft drinks and fresh juices were not included, so we were surprised to be charged for them. Whatever the package inclusions are, they should be clearly communicated at the time of booking. The buggy service was also difficult at times, as they were often unavailable even though there was a priority sign for guests with children. Walking back while carrying a baby and all her pool belongings was not always easy. One final note: the baby cot provided on the first day had a broken piece of wood that could have hurt our baby. We reported it and the staff replaced it immediately, which we appreciated. Overall, the resort is beautiful and the staff are genuinely lovely.
