We chose this hotel for a few days in Lerici with our dog, mainly because it's near Fiascherino Public Beach. From October 1st, dogs are allowed on the beach all day and can even swim in the sea, with dogs only needing to be on a leash on the beach itself. It was also a perfect base for visiting the lovely village of Tellaro, which is easily reachable on foot.
The staff were generally friendly, breakfast was good, and we could check in a little earlier than expected.
A few downsides: the shower in the room was extremely small, and the fridge was quite noisy at night. The hotel parking costs €9 per day, but there is a large free parking area about a 10-minute walk away, which we used instead. The extra charge for our dog was €10 per night. Also add the tourist tax. It’s worth keeping in mind that many things come with an additional charge at the hotel.
Overall, a good location for exploring the area with a dog, although there aren’t many suitable places nearby to walk your dog. There are no real grassy areas or parks around the hotel.
