It was a great location and a beautifully maintained older hotel that really holds it charm. The service, politeness, friendliness and professionalism from the staff was of the highest quality. We really enjoyed the private bath facility and sauna. The traditional breakfast was also a nice treat as a Canadian tourist.
I wouldn't change anything.

It was my first experience of a truly Japanese Ryokan the first time I had slept on a futon or stayed in hotel room like this. It was fantastic, although I won’t be swapping my bed for a futon when I get home. The breakfast was a revelation a big fish gourmet delight.

Traditional Japanese hotel with tatami and futon mattresses. Clean, secluded but within 10 minutes walk from the ferry and town centre

Booked 2 rooms next to each other. Clean and big rooms. Breakfast was good. Host connected with me and arranged special vegetarian meals. They had shuttle transfer available for free to ferry terminal.
