The hotel does what it says because you can see the Palace of the Popes from the room window, a remarkable site. And it's only 20 metres from the other main square which has plenty of bars and brasseries. And the food and the service in the restaurant were both excellent, too.

Incredible location. Great room with a view to the palace of the Popes.
Old elevator and even with that you need to use staircases (inconvenient for older people)

Wonderful location just outside the town square
Beautiful bedroom, nice staff and a good breakfast. Being able to park in underground parking just outside the hotel is a bonus

Location and history.
Quite noisy- mostly due to the American guests.
