I stayed in the hotel a couple of times since some 20 years. The location is brilliant, close to the beach. (It's not a very quiet place but this is true for the whole Ilha de Faro.) Facilities, restaurant, showers etc. three star, simple and fine. I will stay there again :-)

I’ve stayed at this charming hotel several times over the years due to its location right on the beach and proximity to the airport. Built in 1966 it retains an authentic feeling but the rooms have continued to be modernised with flat screen tv, aircon and new bathrooms. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in the hotel restaurant with excellent quality and value for money.
If you want to there are several other bars and restaurants to visit on Faro beach.
Every room has a beautiful view of the ocean or the river.
We liked everything but it’s worth noting for those who can’t manage stairs, there is no lift and no ground floor accommodation. All bedrooms are on the first floor.

The view over the river was great.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Parking. Arriving during the afternoon in August and trying to park was extremely stressful.
After 8pm, no problem.
