It was a comfortable stay. We’ve been before so accept it’s an old hotel but it has character which is good.

Fabulous, large room and great location. Great hostess at breakfast.
The receptionist/night manager was not very helpful
No decaf options in room.

The room was huge as were the wardrobes. The young dining staff x 2 worked long hours, it seemed and remained cheerful and helpful. It had a beautiful marble staircase and an historic vibe.
Very shabby on the inside. Cleanliness along skirtings and behind pot plants etc poor. On loan furniture in the piano lounge with information of how to purchase your own should you wish🙄. Relying on a glorious past to carry them through, however it was a faded, shabby relic. I would blame the current owner, not the staff. It certainly was not cheap either.
