We did know what to expect, arrival was unusual as it was a self service registration, I assume that there is few staff to cover this position.
The main building we used for dining and breakfast, the food was excellent and plentiful.
Our building was separate to the main building but very modern, well appointed and the rooms warm. The beds we would have preferred larger pillows as at home but these seem to be what is acceptable in Germany. The surrounding countryside is very pretty with plenty of walks through meadows and forests.
We walked to Klostier Andechs 4kms which was an excellent walk with plentiful beer and food to renew your spirits once we arrived there!!
You need to book your place for dining as it is very busy in the evenings as it is a popular destination for villagers and visitors.
Larger pillows would be nice.
