Hotel Fortaleza do Guincho Relais & Châteaux

The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed perhaps . Superior attentive service . Attention to every detail of the guest experience .exquisite quality food and amenities .The most beautiful arced balcony makes for sitting out to admire the ocean view .

Nothing to dislike . I would fee this hotel 6 stars out of 5 .

Beautiful, modern rooms keeping in style with the hotel’s history. Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Delicious food!

It would be nice if there were shops in walking distance, but a taxi to town only took 10 minutes.

For us, this is the most beautiful seaside spot—considering any sea or location we have ever visited. While the architecture is impressive and the location fabulous, it is the people who make this place truly memorable. They are staff members who have been here for over twenty years, conveying a passion and kindness that you appreciate immediately. The restaurant is extraordinary, not only because the dishes are superbly prepared but also because the view of the sea is breathtaking. I highly recommend staying at least one night to fully enjoy the setting and Praia do Guincho.

I have nothing negative to say. Perhaps just that it’s becoming difficult to book a room.

Absolutely stunning from the moment we arrived. The setting is breathtaking, the property is beautiful, and everything was spotless. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely caring, and the location is perfect. It was truly one of the best experiences we have ever had. We would stay again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone and everyone. Come experience it for yourself!

Honestly, very little. The breakfast was very tasty, and the eggs made to order were great, but a bit more variety would have been swell. What they offered was good, with eggs made various ways, they had bacon, bread, yogurt, cereal, fruit, and juice, but that felt a little limited over a multi night stay. A wider variety, like more hot dishes, additional meat and protein choices would bring breakfast up to the level of everything else at this beautiful property.
