This is just a lovely place to be. The room had an amazing view of the bay and was cosy. Melanie was great at making us feel at home, made some great food and helped us get on our way to an early meeting, all without a fuss.

Most amazing place to stay.
Host is warm and friendly. She made me breakfast to take out and eat on the beach most days (or can have full English inside).
I was staying in the 'tiny' room. It was small but not uncomfortable. Could lie in bed and gaze out the window at the sea easily, but also room to write which is partly what I was there for. A small fridge. Fresh cake in the room! Perfect view of sun rising over the sea in the morning.

As well as being opposite a quiet part of the beach it wasn't a long walk into town or to the clock tower to catch a bus or to the train station. There were nearby eateries. Or about a mile walk to the far end of the Harbour where there was lots of choice.
I am tempted to return to weymouth just so I can stay here again

Melaney is an amazing host/hotel manager - super friendly and everything is well organized. I appreciated the booklet with recommendations for the area and the fridge with milk, water and some snacks. Breakfast was lovely. And then there's the view - looking directly at the sea and hearing the surf at night is absolutely something special.
The bed was a bit creaky/squeaky which had me tossing and turning
