Hervorzuheben ist die liebevolle Ausstattung, die sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeberin Alessia und ihre super Kommunikation zur Anreise. Alessia hatte immer ein offenes Ohr für unsere Wünsche zur An- und Abreise und war maximal flexibel, was das Ein- und Aus-checken betrifft.
Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und die Einrichtung in sehr gutem Zustand. Das Bad ist komplett ausgestattet inklusive Fön. Es gibt einen Gemeinschafts-Frühstücksraum, der komplett mit Geschirr, Kaffeemaschine usw. ausgestattet ist. Einige Zimmer haben Zugang zum kleinen Innenhof, der mit Palmen und Bananenstauden bepflanzt ist.
Vom Flughafen geht es einfach zur Bahnstation Palermo-Lolli ohne Umsteigen, von Palermo-Lolli sind es etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Unterkunft.
Von der Unterkunft erreicht man die Sehenswürdigkeiten wir das Theater, die Kathedrale und den Königspalast in 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß. Alessia hat uns alles auf einer kleinen Stadtkarte eingetragen und erklärt. Mit dem Bus sind wir an einem Tag in etwa 45 Minuten nach Monreale gefahren. An einem anderen Tag sind wir mit dem Zug nach Cefalu gefahren.
In der Umgebung sind 2-3 kleine Cafés für ein kleines Frühstück. Alessia hatte auch einige Empfehlungen für Restaurants zum Abendessen in der Nähe.
Wir haben uns für drei Nächte sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten von dort aus die Stadt erkunden. Beim nächsten Besuch würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder bei Alessia buchen.
Es ist mir nichts Negatives aufgefallen. Ich hatte keinen Pool, Wellness, Frühstück oder Concierge erwartet. ;-)
Es handelt sich um eine liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft, in der man gerne ein paar Tage zur Stadtbesichtigung verbringt. Alessia spricht Italienisch und etwas Englisch. Obwohl wir nur wenige Worte Italienisch beherrschen, war die Verständigung gut möglich. Vor allem die Absprache per Chat und WhatsApp war einfach, die Übersetzer-App hat schnell geholfen. :-)

We could not have asked for a warmer welcome. Alessia made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, and her kindness is what we will remember most. When we realized we had booked the wrong room (we assumed a double meant two beds, our mistake entirely), she did not hesitate. She found us an extra bed right away and made it feel like no trouble at all. That kind of generosity is rare.
If you are visiting Palermo, stay here. You will be in very good hands. Grazie mille, Alessia!

Quiet neighborhood. Close to the shopping markets and good restaurants. My room was basic. However, very comfortable. The host was available to answer questions. And very knowledgeable about the area.
