While the staff provided great service, the quality of the dinner did not justify the cost.

Room and onsen are good.

The dinner wasn't as good as I expected.

10 / 10

Loved the serenity and peacefulness of the place.

Having a private onsen. Clean and very accommodating staff especially Mandy.

12-15 mins walk from Yufuin Station, but still worth it.

A wonderful treat in beautiful surroundings

Excellent breakfast and dinner! Walking distance to stations and lovely staff! Private onsen was treat.

The tatami beds not super comfortable after for our 6 night stay.

The size of the room.

The room was advertised as a western room, but in fact had nothing western about it. It was just a specious old TV or conference room reconverted to fit futons. The advertising in all booking sites is misleading. Most of all it doesn't have toilet and bath, which for Japanese is the hallmark of "western room". Room extremely noisy as sitting right on top of lobby. ,
