This place is a little gem. The rooms are spacious and are spotlessly clean, all set around a lovely courtyard. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and made our stay a joy. In addition, it is very close to the entrance to Periyar Tiger Reserve and also to the town.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Wildernest, Thekkady, with four families, including one couple celebrating their honeymoon. The highlight was the thoughtful arrangement made by the team for the surprise we had requested for the newly married - it was truly overwhelming and made the occasion even more special. The spacious and comfortable rooms were perfect for our group, giving everyone enough space to gather, relax, and spend quality time together. The hospitality, ambience, and attention to our request made our stay truly memorable. A heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Wildernest for making our short stay so special. We would love to return!
Limited car parking.

A spotlessly clean hotel with excellent food in the restaurant, just a stone’s throw from the national park, and with staff who are always on hand to help and provide us with some very interesting sightseeing.
