I’ve stayed in so many beautiful places all over the world, but this one made me feel like the main character in a romantic movie.
I honestly wish I could somehow transfer the feeling of this experience into words, because this place is truly something special.
Getting there is part of the magic. You walk through the charming little alleys of Pyrgos, it’s quite a steep walk, but absolutely worth it. Along the way, you pass beautiful traditional houses and local neighbours, who greet you so warmly that you immediately feel like you’re experiencing the real Santorini.
And then you arrive at the house and it’s absolutely stunning! The design and furnishings are beautiful, combining authentic Santorinian character with an incredible sense of style. The view is simply unforgettable. You look out over almost the entire hillside, with a little church sitting at the top. It feels almost unreal.
The jacuzzi was the perfect addition and made the whole experience even more special. I genuinely can’t think of many places in the world where you can experience something quite like this.
This accommodation gave us such an authentic, intimate Santorinian experience, and I truly cannot imagine anything better.
And a special mention to our point of contact, Hillory, who was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She made everything feel effortless and was incredibly kind and helpful.
Just an unforgettable stay. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Everything -very clean,well maintained, beautiful outdoor space, great location … the property lived up to its price tag in this regard.
1) it wasn’t the personalized experience suggested by email communication prior to arrival. I was promised donkeys to transfer luggage (instead in their absence, I was the mule), I was also promised a donkey ride around the village for my daughter… she was unfortunately left disappointed.
2) lack of donkeys is perfectly excusable, however my second comment isn’t. The staff used for the (very expensive) transfer was rude, arrogant and disrespectful to an extent that I’ve never experienced in any service industry. I was greeted by him shouting at me because I’d carried my bags to the wrong place despite the fact that I had already apologized for inconveniencing him in that he had to drive for an extra minute and a half. On our second meeting, he actually lied about the location in an attempt to extort extra money, he also attempted to grab my wife’s phone off her while she was trying to phone the manager… so if you don’t enjoy Thugs who attempt to intimidate your wife while attempting to extort money, I wouldn’t recommend using their transfer service.
